OUR SERVICES
Restorative
Teeth Whitening
Tooth whitening is a popular procedure to make teeth whiter and brighter, and therefore more attractive. Whitening can be used to brighten stained and discolored teeth, or simply to enhance a dull smile. Either way, tooth whitening is a safe and relatively painless procedure ideal for most patients. Our office offers three methods of whitening: Zoom whitening, KOR whitening, which are done in office and take home tray whitening.

Nightguards & Snoreguards
Nightguard, also known as an occlusal (biting surface) guard, is a removable acrylic (plastic) appliance that fits over the upper or lower teeth used to minimize the effects of grinding the teeth or joint problems (TMD) during sleep.
Snore Guard is an anti-snoring device that
to prevent snoring before it starts. It is a jaw retaining mouthpiece that is fitted over your teeth and while it is in your mouth, it holds your lower jaw forward.
Preventative
Routine Exams
Routine dental exams are an important part of preventive health care. During a dental exam, the dentist will check for cavities and gum disease. The dentist will also evaluate your risk of developing other oral health problems, as well as check your face, neck and mouth for abnormalities. A dental exam might also include dental X-rays (radiographs) or other diagnostic procedures.
During a dental exam, the dentist will likely discuss your diet and oral hygiene habits and might demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques. Other topics for discussion might include lifestyle factors that can affect oral health and possible cosmetic improvements to your teeth.
Dental Hygiene
A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from a dental hygienist. Most dental cleanings take approximately 60 minutes. Cleanings should be performed at least every six months to prevent excessive plaque buildup. Some patients require more frequent visits to maintain dental health. Plaque left untreated can lead to unhealthy gums and tooth decay. During your routine cleaning we will remove excess plaque and polish your teeth.
Porcelain Crowns
A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant and is typically bonded to the tooth using dental cement. Crowns can be made from many materials, which are usually fabricated using out-of-mouth methods. The full porcelain crown is tooth colored there for more esthetically pleasing.
Emergency Dentistry
A dental emergency is
an acute disorder of oral health that requires dental and/or medical attention, including broken, loose, or evulsed teeth caused by traumas; infections and inflammations of the soft tissues of the mouth; and complications of oral surgery, such as dry socket.
Contact our office for an emergency.
Dentures
The denture part of a dental appliance is officially the plate to which false teeth are attached, but people tend to refer more generally to dentures, meaning the whole device. If an accident or dental disease causes you to lose adult teeth, you can have a dentist make dentures that are fitted exactly to your mouth. Some of these are permanent, while others are removable.
Nitrous
We offer our anxious patients nitrous.
You breathe nitrous oxide -- otherwise known as "laughing gas" -- combined with oxygen through a mask that's placed over your nose. The gas helps you relax. Your dentist can control the amount of sedation you receive, and the gas tends to wear off quickly. This is the only form of sedation where you are capable to drive yourself home after the procedure.
Veneers
Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is placed over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only applied to the part of the tooth that is visible when talking or smiling.
Veneers usually involve two appointments because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental laboratory. At the first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions are taken, and the teeth are given a temporary veneer. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic and are very aesthetic.
The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the procedure is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are recommended for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.
Dental Fillings
A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. If you have a tooth that requires a filling, the dentist will first remove the decayed tooth material, clean the affected area, and then fill the cleaned out cavity with a filling material. A filling helps prevent further decay by closing off any cracks or spaces where bacteria can enter.
There are a variety of filling materials available including gold, silver, composite and porcelain. The dentist will work with you to determine which material is best, depending on the extent of repair, where the filling is needed, and cost.
